It seems like television shows are no longer on TV anymore. Many of the most popular series and original shows are on Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services. Apple has always been at the forefront of technology and it is no surprise that they would be looking to join in on the craze that is television streaming. Apple seems to be looking to dip into the pool that is television streaming and might be coming up with their very own original series. If Apple is as good at television as they have been at Smartphone technology, this should be a huge benefit for television lovers. There really is no telling what type of original shows they will be able to come up with for streaming audiences.

Here is more information on how Apple is trying to get into TV streaming:

Right now, Apple is just pitching to studios and producers on various show ideas. There really is nothing that is set in stone, but the possibilities are pretty exciting. Last year was when Apple first began talks about streaming television service, but the seriousness of these discussions have only progressed from this time. Even though Apple is not very far along in their plan to launch a television streaming service, they do hope to make a lot of progress in a short amount of time. One insider claims that deals for original series are believed to be reached by September. This would give Apple enough time to debut this announcement of TV series at the next iPhone launch. It would be the perfect time to announce something new and exciting that would be a part o Apple.

Eddy Cue

The person within Apple that seems to be leading the charge on this endeavor is Eddy Cue. He is the Senior VP of Internet and Software services at Apple. In many different instances, he has been the one to handle media negotiations for Apple, so it only makes sense that he would be leading the charge for Apple to begin streaming television. There was a report in April that stated that Apple was looking to side table this plan to begin streaming television, but that no longer seems to be the case. They seem to be moving ahead at full speed and are even making a lot of progress recently. There is still a lot of secrecy on Appleā€™s part, but it will only be a matter of time before they announce their launch.
