As with every new release in technology everyone flocks to the internet to see if there is any new information about the latest device that they need to have. The HTC One M10 will be replacing the HTC One M9 and as the newest Android smartphone, it’s said to impress the masses. Through some interesting leaked documentation, we’ve found some unique information about the latest HTC phone.
- Phone Display
One of the biggest changes that the HTC One M10 is going to see is a change in the phone display. HTC has consistently developed smartphones that offer users a certain sized screen, generally one that is much smaller than the competition but with the release of their new phone, this may just change. According to sources that have had the ability to actually hold the HTC One M10, the screen should be 5.1 inches with a 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD AMOLED display.
- Rumored Specs
There was a giant list of details that were leaked to the public apparently from a source that had the opportunity to use the phone. The good thing is that they were sufficiently impressed by the power behind the small device, including the fact that their screen was slightly larger than previous models. Some of the upgrades specs include:
- Fingerprint Scanner
- Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
- Snapdragon 820 Processor with 4GB RAM
- 12 “Ultrapixel” camera including laser auto-focus and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)
- 32GB of storage with a microSD slot that allows up to 200GB
- “Boomsound” speakers not included on the front of the phone
- Fingerprint Scanner
This type of technology seems to be all the rage with the latest smart phones and it has been seen from competitors such as Samsung and Apple, now HTC will have one as well. On the front of the phone there will be a dedicated spot for the scanner and though it was seen on the HTC One A9, there are reports that state the HTC One M10 will look similar to the A9 but have far better features.
HTC has supposedly focused a lot of their time on developing a great camera that gives users the ability to take stunning photos with the use of their “UltraPixel” technology. With the optical image stabilization and large light sensors to enhance the speed of the shutter, you should be able to capture picture-perfect moments immediately.
- Release Date
Apparently HTC will not be unveiling their new smart phone at the Mobile World Congress like they usually do. Sources say that an event in the late half of March is when the M10 will be shown to the world, leaving customers in the United States until approximately April for the new phone to come
